it is great in determining possible actions and helping in the aid of counting for where certain individuals are if an event is to ever happen. pending on how many cameras are hooked up to the system will determine the total hours of video recorded for evidence review. When setting up for an investigation, we listen to the clients claims and place the cameras in the most favored spots where reported activity is said to have taken place to increase our chance of possibly capturing paranormal events in video. any positive evidence captured is documented and presented to our clients at a later time.

IR CAMERA
These are the cameras that hook up to the DVR system. They are IR or 'infrared' which means they have night-vision and can record in total pitch black and have a recording strength of up to 150 feet in complete darkness. We usually have about 4 of these running all simultaneously feeding the information into the DVR machine for video review at a later date. The more cameras you have, the more coverage you have in an area.

CAMCORDERS
We use  mobile camcorders on our investigations. with us splitting into  groups, each group takes a camcorder to document their every action, these cameras are equipped with IR illuminators to improve the already applied night shot on them. not really much more to explain about these as we are sure everyone has used a camcorder at some point, it is really used for documenting times and places and happenings and even maybe paranormal activity.

DIGITAL CAMERAS
One of the dominant tools of any arsenal of equipment for paranormal investigators to this day is the camera....for decades...quite possibly even since the beginning of photography, strange occurrences have appeared in these still life pictures, while a lot can be explained away as faults or dust...there is a small percentage that will leave one scratching their head. we make sure to, on any investigation, to take as many pictures as possible. While it is not our sole purpose to try and get as many photos as possible, it still remains to be a strong backbone in helping the aid of spectral research.

DIGITAL VOICE RECORDERS
One of the most important items we have are digital voice recorders. there are many different models out there. the purpose of these recorders is to attempt record E.V.P.'s or Electronic Voice Phenomenon.  the ones produced years within the past 5 years were only able to hold about 20 minutes of audio. the recorders made nowadays have the capability of holding up to approximately 5 hours on the best recording speed.  when we go into a location we want to make sure we have enough digital recorders to aid in our search for answers to what is going on at the place of investigation. digital voice recorders offer great opportunities for us to sit down in an environment, take in the room, get comfortable and start recording. it is usually only during playback do we at times receive vocal messages from another plane. while the digital recorders are a great tool to have, we have another form of audio we use too

WIRELESS AUDIO KIT
We use this device for remote E.V.P. recording, we will take the transmitter, place it in an area where purported activity or voices have been claimed to have been heard and we let the transmitter send a constant signal to its receiver, which then in turn delivers all the information gathers from the transmitter into our computer, where the program on the machine is constantly recording. Unlike the digital voice recorders, this one can record for as long as the batteries can hold out in the transmitter and there is enough hard drive space on the computer. but usually neither one is ever a problem.

Tools of the Trade

The following gear are used to measure certain parameters of the investigated area. These items detect area fluctuations and help in determining whether the activity is that of normal everyday items or surrounding atmospheres or that of a paranormal nature.

EMF METER
The EMF meter stands for Electro Magnetic Field. Electro magnetic fields are given off by electronics and devices, TVs, computers, radios, all sorts of devices give off magnetic readings and the same with ghosts. If you get a normal reading  and there is a sudden fluctuation, you need to determine the source. Bye moving around with the meter, one can determine if the source leads back to an electrical socket or if it is free floating and moving.

 K2 METER
KII Meter exhibits properties and boasts features that make it the easiest, handiest and most reliable EMF meter for paranormal use. The string of LEDs across the top of the meter measure the relative strength of whatever EMF (electromagnetic field) happens to exist in the locality of the instrument, and it demonstrates the relative strength of said field in a most visual way. The colored LEDs flicker from light green (for very weak fields) to bright red, and when the field is stable the lights are also stable.

GEIGER METER
Although a rather much outdated but, familiar looking object, the Geiger counter has been used for quite some time in paranormal research. It is believed that spirits generate a form of radiation and the Geiger meter is a great tool for detecting it. However, in recent times, the Geiger seems to all of but faded from the normal arsenal for ghost hunters. We usually don't utilize this on investigations because we feel we have better luck with other items.
